Quaker Real Medleys

Another great product that I received in my Holiday VoxBox was this Quaker Real Medleys Cherry Pistachio Oatmeal. This was so easy to make for someone like me who doesn't wake up early enough to make a real breakfast. One morning before work, I remembered "Hey! I need to try this oatmeal for Influenster!" So that is what I did, I made this - it was so quick and so easy! And there I was, out of the door, with a full belly. Not only are they super easy to make, they are also super delicious. I am currently only able to find the Apple Walnut one at my local Cub, but I am hoping that they will be bringing the other flavors to my local grocery store soon!
I highly recommend this if you want a delicious on the go breakfast! Or even just a good snack!

Kiss Nail Dress

So as you all know, I received a VoxBox from Influenster almost a month ago, and in this box were products that I needed to review and share my thoughtful opinion on.
There was one thing in the box that I was was more excited about than the other items in the box, this would be the Kiss Nail Dress. The reason I was so excited about this had a lot to do with the fact that I am a complete nut when it comes to my nails. Whenever there is a new nail product - I am the first to try it hands down. I love making sure that my nails are taken care of, and generally I get compliments on them!
These little things are so easy to put on that it is crazy! You just peel them off of the strip - align them to your nail - and then file down the extra! Super easy and anyone could do it.
I loved these, and I will be continuing to buy them because I think they were great quality for the price. The only problem that I do hold with them is that I wish they lasted a little bit longer than they do! Other than that, I think they are super cute, super easy, and super fun. I am not lying, as soon as you put on Kiss Nail Dress, try handing money to a cashier somewhere WITHOUT getting complimented. You are going to love the attention! :)

Finals

Finals are almost over, and I am not sad about it!
Too much stress comes with finals - studying for final exams, typing up loads of final papers, and practicing your final projects over and over again.
I am surprised I could keep sane throughout all of this. I can say - being a Criminal Justice student is not the easiest path I could have taken, but it is where my heart is.

Sanity this week has been hard, but I made it!
Last night, I watched Ted with the boyfriend
It was a pretty good movie. I did not care for the constant marijuana reference, but it was an alright movie aside from that. I ended up crying at the end a little bit, but the movie was more funny than anything. I suggest it to anyone who likes Seth MacFarlane. I rented it via OnDemand with Comcast - it is $4.99 for standard and $5.99 HD.

So I guess the purpose of this was to say that I found some sanity in watching a movie, it was nice to take a few hours off of all the final work and just have some relaxation!!

Crest 3D White Professional Effects Whitestrips

So, recently I got the opportunity to try Crest 3D White Strips via Influenster.com.

"If You're Not Whitening, You're Yellowing."

I was so happy to receive these in the mail, and the first day I got them I automatically started using them.
My teeth are gross, to say the least due to the fact that I am a smoker-and a coffer drinker. It sucks that you are afraid to smile due to the fact that your teeth are really tarnished due to your everyday habits. So, with that being said I was more than happy to give these a go. Thank you Crest and Influenster!

The first day I used them everything was fine. I used them as instructed, and it went well, even after the first day I could tell a difference. However, there is a downside if you are a person with sensitive teeth.
So listen up:
If you are a person with sensitive teeth - you really, and I mean REALLY need to decrease the time that you leave them on for. I believe that the strips indicate that you should leave them on for 30 minutes. I found that if I leave them on for the 30 minutes that they ask - the next day my teeth are in a lot of pain - hard to chew, talk, ect. So I started leaving them on for 15 minutes a day.

Although I am sure that I am not whitening as fast as other people out there with less sensitive teeth are, I do see an improvement and I would recommend it.
I will post a picture when I feel they are "white enough" to share.

Thank you so much!

This will be the start.

I have never done a blog before, and I am not sure how to go about this:

My name is Samantha, I live in Minnesota, and I am a 21 year old female. I am currently working as a PCA for a family, and even though it can be stressful, I very much love my job.
I was diagnosed with Lupus when I was 18, it has been a struggle but I am getting by just fine by doing crafts, spending time with my loved ones, and sweeping.
Sweeping has given me a lot, and although it is time consuming it really does pay off, not to mention it has actually helped me relieve a lot of stress that I have to deal with.
Shortly after being diagnosed with Lupus I was also diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I am constantly in pain and it is miserable, but the best thing I can do is to not focus on the pain. I am getting by.

So I don't know what I want to do this blog on. I have no clue! I see a lot of people doing book reviews, well, I generally do those on GoodReads, and don't really know if I am into reading enough to want to focus a blog on it.
I see a lot of people do it about their family life, well, unless people want to see a lot of pictures of my cat, that is the closest to children that I currently have other than my nieces.
I could do it on crafts, but I don't know if I want to show people the silly things I make.
Maybe I should just make the blog about the things going on in my life? About me? Maybe the products I like?
Products I like...there are a lot of them, oh heck. Haha.

So here is the start of something new for me.
Yay!

So...Now What, Samii?
